Toad Hall Manor

Montana's Premier Bed and Breakfast

Welcome to Toad Hall Manor, a charming southwest Montana bed and breakfast named for the British children's classic, The Wind in the Willows.

We are in historic Butte on the edge of the Rockies, with straightforward driving routes toward Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park for longer trips. The manor fits a family visit, a quiet weekend away, or a romantic escape.

Guests often comment on the wide Rocky Mountain views and on our house breakfast, served in your suite or on the patio when the weather cooperates. Book online or call 406-494-2625 with questions. We look forward to meeting you.

A Unique Bed and Breakfast

The Manor

The inspiration for Toad Hall Manor is the British children's classic, The Wind in the Willows, and Mr. Toad would feel at home in the warm layout of this Butte bed and breakfast.

Toad Hall Manor stays quiet enough for rest, polished enough for anniversaries, and close enough to Uptown Butte for an easy night out. Discover why guests and travel writers keep calling us Montana's Premier Bed & Breakfast.

In a Uniquely Western Town

About Butte

Butte, Montana, sits in the northern Rocky Mountains on the Continental Divide. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, it was one of the largest copper mining centers in the United States. People called it "Richest Hill on Earth," and for a time Butte ranked as the biggest city west of the Mississippi. The era of the copper kings and the Anaconda Copper Mining Company has passed, but Butte still honors its colorful mining story through museums, tours, and public art.

Walk Uptown to see Victorian storefronts, stained glass, and stately homes. Seasonal trolley tours still highlight key historic sites. You will also find local dining, summer festivals, and Montana Technological University woven into daily life here.

If you are planning a two or three night loop from the inn, open our Butte weekend stay guide: day plans from Toad Hall Manor. It lists sights, dining links, and reminders about seasonal hours.
